When I was growin' up, my Dad would call us down from our bedrooms for a few things. We came right away 'cause my Dad knew good stuff. " Hey kids, get down here -Buddy Rich -Pink Panther-Shot in the Dark-Jonathan Winters-Don Rickles-Cassius Clay-is on TV, get down here or you'll miss it. Those are the only things I remember him promoting us to watch that way. It was some of the best stuff ever. Buddy was one of my greatest heros, and still is. Thanks Dad.

This is a still from one of two Christmas shorts I've been working on the last couple of years. I'll be doing all the music for these, too. I don't know how some people find the time to get projects like these done, with all the other krap we have to do in our lives. Am I the only one that needs to works 2 or 3 jobs? I'll keep pluggin' away though.

I was really into Painter for a while. You can do some really kool stuff, quickly. But it was undependable so I quit using it. I may start using it again, see if the new version works any better.

Stroker & Hoop Crew

We worked our butts off on the show. It was hard work. Nobody was doing it the same way. Flash is like that, there are so many ways to create the work, and everyone has to find their way. We learned a lot, and now moving on to Birdman, we have to learn a new way of working. It's great, because it's more traditional drawn animation. Flash helps with repeating images and some tweening, but for the most part, it's drawin' keys and tweens!

Spent the last year workin' on Stroker & Hoop. Show got dropped. Working on Birdman now. It's more real traditional style, which is kool. Ya get to draw more. Freelancing on a film and a Lil' Abner screensaver. Doing the soundtrack for the film, too.
